Editorial Policy
Male Hospital aims to publish the most accurate and honest men’s health information on the web. This page explains how our content is written, checked and updated.
Evidence first
Our articles are based on international clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed research — for example the European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines, American Urological Association (AUA) guidelines, the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), the NHS, the US National Institutes of Health and medicine labels approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Each article cites its sources next to the facts they support and lists them in a References box.
Medical review
Every article is reviewed by our medical specialist, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zülfü Sertkaya, urologist and andrologist (FEBU). The review date is shown at the end of each article.
Honesty about evidence
- We say clearly when a treatment is experimental, off-label or not recommended by guidelines.
- We do not publish invented statistics, testimonials or “guaranteed” results.
- We separate facts from opinion and explain uncertainty.
Updates and corrections
We review articles when guidelines or important studies change. If you find an error, please tell us on WhatsApp at +905444768387; we will check it and correct it promptly.
Independence
We do not accept payment from manufacturers to mention products. Device and medicine names are mentioned only for information.
Read our medical disclaimer.
